For most people who venture into MLM finding prospects and leads proves to be quite a big challenge. Once you have exhausted your list of family and friends who do you turn to next?
Of course there are always avenues such as paid leads, cold calling and such – but I want to concentrate on how to use free online services to generate leads for your MLM business online. The kind of leads I am speaking of are targeted leads – people who are interested in what you have so say, vastly different from cold calling and harassing family and friends.
I have found there are 5 top ways online you can use to generate free leads and they are

I love article marketing. I love to talk so I love to write. Most people who come across article marketing seem to give it the old heave hoe because they always think ‘I don’t know what to write’ – so they leave the most easiest and most FREE generator of traffic for dead and move onto something else. Well I am going to share with you my 3 little steps with article marketing that have helped me build my list over the last few months.
Now article marketing really isn’t that hard. There are times when I have a mental blank, and then there are times where I could write a book on my chosen topic. The best way to tackle writing is to write about something you know, have experienced, have tried and learned from or just something you think may be helpful for others. Another way to document your article instead of actually writing it first is something I use often and that is I simply record myself speaking about the topic. Just use your recorder and talk, then go back and write what you spoke about – you will find that not only have you got a great article but it probably contains several hundred words and is quite lengthy
Remember with article marketing is does take practice, so the more you do it the better you will get at it. The most important thing is to start – so here are my 3 steps to building my list with article marketing Read the rest of this entry

The must have tool I am talking about is an auto responder. An auto responder is simply an automated online email service that allows you to pre write all your emails and then set it up so they go out to people on your list at certain intervals you want it to.
For example if you have a newsletter you want to send out to people, then you could write 10 weeks worth over the weekend, then set your auto responder up to send them out one by one over the next 10 weeks. You can also send out one off email blasts to your subscribers too – if there is something you have to tell them or you discovered something that may be of value to them.

How exciting you have decided to set up your very first blog on WordPress. For a lot of people setting up your first blog can be quite intimidating because it looks on the surface so involved and it appears you need to know a lot of technical stuff. Well I’m here to tell you it really isn’t that difficult, nor is it overly technical. Really if I can set up a blog like the one you are on now – anyone can do it!!

I would have to be one of the least technical people on the planet, Shane probably not far behind. So when I came across this beauty I was very happy. For those of you that do not know HTML it stands for Hyper Text Markup Language (a whole heap of jibberish to me!) – but from what I understand it is the coding that makes your website visible to everyone. It enables you to make your pages visually attractive.

Now although I mention Go daddy in the title this does apply to other domain registers, but because I use Go daddy I will use them as an example. As you are aware no doubt that if you want to set up your own website or a self hosted Word Press blog you need a domain name. Although usually relatively cheap anyway (generally a .com will set you back around $10 and a .info for around $2) there is a way to purchase your domain (once you have decided on one) – for a cheaper price. It’s called using Go Daddy Coupons (sometimes also called promo codes).

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people you meet that think if they use the internet as a medium for their MLM home business that they will never have to pick up the phone and actually speak to their potential business partners.
Being involved in MLM offline of course has always involved networking and talking to people, in fact many people, so you could get the word out about your business and or products. Of course for many people this method is old and stale and they have now turned to the internet seeking a much easier simpler and automated way to build their business.
Talk to most newbie’s in MLM and they will tell you the one thing they hate is talking to people, they would much rather have a system that does it all for them. There is one problem with this method of thinking. A big problem. For anyone who thinks they can run a MLM business from home using only automated systems without having to pick up the phone is only going to make things harder on themselves and their business –because really how do you expect to retain any of your new business partners if you never speak to them?

Have you ever tried to explain to someone what Multi Level Marketing is? And then received the response ‘but isn’t that a pyramid?’ – Obviously we as network marketers know the real answer to that. But the interesting thing is what most people don’t realize is they are already working within a pyramid scheme.
